The Results

“The EMTC gives Saudi Arabia something it hasn’t had before. An in-Kingdom facility built to the same standard as the best emergency response centres anywhere in the world. It means Saudi nationals can train, get internationally accredited, and go straight into the industrial and utilities workforce without leaving the Kingdom. That’s exactly what Vision 2030 is asking us to deliver”

The region’s newest purpose-built industrial emergency response training facility

Delivering internationally accredited firefighting and emergency management capability from within the Saudi Water Academy campus in Jubail.

Site Group Global partners with the Saudi Water Academy to establish the Emergency Management Training Centre (EMTC). A purpose-built fire ground with live-burn infrastructure, adjoined to a classroom, assessment and command-simulation complex. The centre supports Saudi Arabia’s expanding industrial, utilities, energy and civil defence sectors with hands-on, internationally accredited training delivered in-Kingdom.

The Challenge

Saudi Arabia’s industrial, utilities and energy sectors are scaling quickly under Vision 2030, but in-Kingdom access to internationally accredited, hands-on emergency response training has not kept pace. Operators have relied on offshore training providers, adding cost, lead time and workforce downtime – while the Kingdom’s civil defence and industrial safety agenda called for a domestic, standards-aligned training pathway capable of producing a professionally qualified, nationally deployed emergency response workforce.
